This course is for teachers who are new to coaching Hockey in schools. It covers the basic skills and strategies for the 7-a-side Mini (Into) Hockey game as well as the full 11-a-side game. It will provide an introduction to coaching techniques for individual player development, and tactical considerations to create an effective team. With extensive video illustration, it will equip novice coaches with the skills, knowledge and understanding to conduct safe and inspiring coaching sessions, and to run lower ability school teams.
