Many schools incorporate games coaching and refereeing sessions into their school Inset programme. Often this is the most convenient, and cost effective, method of training all games staff together. Where staff require qualifications, for instance in safety based activities such as Rugby, trampolining or First Aid, this is the best way to ensure that all staff achieve compliance.
All training can be delivered at your school, at a time to suit. Inset sessions are usually a full day (typically 4-5 hours), though half day, or twilight, programmes are also available. Smaller schools often combine to share these sessions
Examples of popular Inset sessions include:
- RFU Coaching guideline courses
- British Gymnastics Qualifications to teach Gymnastics or Trampolining
- Referee and Umpire training
- Netball coaching & umpiring
- Girls & Boys Cricket
- First Aid Qualifications (including Mental Health First Aid)
- After Dinner Speaking
