Louise Fitzroy-Stone MBE

Louise has recently retired from her role as Executive Director of Sport at Guildford High School, after 25 years working at the school.  Under her leadership, the school enjoyed a record breaking 8 year run as the top independent girls’ school for sport (School Sport Magazine).   She developed a strong participation culture, alongside regular National Schools titles in a range of sports.  Her department grew from 6 to 23 staff, and developed facilities and resources to support its ambitions.  She is a former lacrosse international, and was awarded an MBE for services to education.
