National Conference for Leaders of Golf in Schools
Monday 18 November at The Oxfordshire Golf Resort
Dates & Venues
Participation in golf has expanded significantly in recent years, among both boys and girls. This growth has been increased and enabled by a more flexible approach to games programmes, allowing students greater freedom in choosing their sports. As a result, leaders of Golf in schools have experienced a rising interest in the sport, and increasing demand to both learn and play the game. This positive trend can also present challenges for schools to adapt sports provision to accommodate the increased demand. Some schools have made golf a central component of their competitive aspirations.
This conference aims to unite key stakeholders from independent schools to envision the future of golf in education. It will explore how schools can enhance provision to meet specific needs and develop pathways for their most talented players.
