This is a course for school coaches who have some experience of the game, and wish to modernise their sessions. It will also enable them to be confident that they are presenting the contact areas in line with current expectations, contemporary techniques and relevant safety standards. It will provide a range of content to improve individual and unit skills, make sessions more engaging and ensure teams are as effective as they can be.

Course Leaders
Dan Cottrell
Dan has been coaching rugby in schools, clubs, and at representative level for over 30 years. He is head coach of Bristol Schools U18s and centre manager for the Bristol Bears Junior Academy. He is editor of Rugby Coach Weekly, which has been running since 2003 and has a worldwide following. He played first-class rugby for Bristol and Bath and was director of rugby at Cranleigh.
