This online course will provide understanding, clarity and confidence to deliver effective strength and conditioning within PE lessons and games programmes. It will discuss key topics within long term athlete development and youth training, explaining what to prioritise and how to progress this within the everyday constraints of academic environments. It will also consider how to make the engaging and enjoyable for students to promote and develop improved performance, injury prevention and enjoyment.

Will Ruscombe-King, BSc, MSc, ASCC, TALS
Will is the Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of Bristol and a S&C Contractor for the English Institute of Sport. As the first S&C coach to the University of Bristol, Will has led and developed the S&C programme at the University, growing the programme from nothing to a team of S&C coaches, working across 15 sports whilst supporting over 15,000 attendances per academic year in a highly academic university. This has contributed to the University of Bristol achieving Top 10 in BUCS for the 7th consecutive year.
