    This is the second session in a series of webinars by Martin Brockman, former international Decathlete and innovative coach educator.  All have been extensively tested and refined within the school situation. Each will cover a different dimension of Track and Field Athletics, explaining how these activities can be presented to children to ensure both engagement and progress.  They are suitable for teachers and coaches, and cover all content required for GCSE PE practical Athletics.

    • Triple Jump: Teaching jumping and landing skills through the triple jump
    • Long Jump: Mastering the takeoff and landing in the long jump
    • High Jump: Teaching the Fosbury Flop technique to all ages and abilities
    • Ensuring progress in technical activities

    Course Leaders

    Martin Brockman

    Martin represented Great Britain in the decathlon for almost a decade, culminating in winning a bronze medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi and gold at the 2011 European Team Championships. With over 15 years of experience in coaching from grass-roots athletics to junior international athletes, he was the head of athlete development at the world-renowned Aspire Academy in Doha before creating Brockman Athletics where he develops teaching resources for schools and delivers bespoke CPD workshops to international schools all around the world.
