Leigh Gibbs

Leigh Gibbs had a 10 year career in the New Zealand national team, and was captain when they won the gold medal in the 1987 World Championships. She was later head coach of the New Zealand team at the 1995 World Championships and, in a second spell with the team, was assistant coach of the team which won gold at both the 2003 World Championships and the 2006 Commonwealth Games. She has previously been the head coach of New Zealand Under 21, when they won with U21 World Championships. She was later Director of Coaching and Officiating at Netball Queensland and is currently the Netball New Zealand Community Coaching manager
